There are thousands of licensed brokers across Tampa Bay. Each year, Tampa Bay Real Producers and the Suncoast Tampa Association of Realtors each name one Broker of the Year. In 2025, both chose the same person.

I’m honored, a little stunned, and — if I’m honest — proud. So I want to take a minute to share what these awards actually recognize, and why I think it matters if you’re choosing someone to sell your home.

Broker of the Year isn’t a production trophy. Sales volume matters, but these recognitions weigh how a broker runs their business: how clients are treated, how deals get done, how agents are mentored, and what a brokerage contributes to the local industry and community.

Awards don’t sell houses — pricing, marketing, and negotiation do. But here’s what recognition like this tells you: the people who work alongside me every day, on the other side of transactions and inside this industry, decided this business is being run the right way.
