Taco lovers unite! The Bay area is the perfect place to bite, crunch, and chew your way through some great tasting tacos and if you get the craving on a Tuesday you’re bound to get a great deal. Who doesn’t want a lot of bang for their buck? (Or in this case a lot of chewing for your buck!)
Full disclosure – this list is in no particular order. The truth is, you’re going to find TONS of different styles of tacos here. So, if you’re a foodie – you’re in luck! You’ll need at least a few months to make it through this list – unless you have the amazing ability to eat more than one lunch and dinner a day! Trying to name a top 5 or 10 or even more would be way too difficult. The best part about all of these Taco Tuesday celebrations is that there are so many different types and every place puts their own spin on one of America’s favorite dinners.
Here we go… if your tummy isn’t rumbling yet… fair warning… get ready!
Ciccio Cali – If you love a modern twist to your taco than the flats at Ciccios will have you begging for more. At $2 dollars a piece you can indulge all you want without monetary guilt at least! Choose from a more traditional “Mexican” with chicken breast, black beans, tomato, avocado, sour cream, cheese and lettuce. For a more unique twist on the traditional flat go for the “Napa Blue” with braised short rib, sautéed mushrooms, diced red onions, lettuce, blue cheese, tomoatoes, bacon and blue cheese. The flats are all flour shells and you can also enjoy select draft beer and sangria for $2 dollars!
Burrito Boarder – These tacos are filled to the brim with chicken, beef or veggies and toppings. The best part of this deal is you can fill yourself up on tacos at a buck a piece! The only stipulation is they require the purchase of a drink – which you’ll need if your planning to take full advantage of this deal.
Tijuana Flats– These authentic tacos are huge! Choose from hard or soft shell tacos and pick chicken or beef. They come with several toppings, chips and a drink for less than $5.50! Top your meal off with any one of the dozens of famous taco sauces from the sauce bar. Tijuana Flats offers a casual family friendly atmosphere as well.
Green Lemon – Just like it’s Ciccios counterpart you’ll find $2.00 tacos at Green Lemon on Tuesdays. If you like a cold one after a long day in the office you can enjoy an ice cold Corona for $2.50. You’ll find a modern and healthy twist on the tacos served here. They’re street style and delicious. Now, if only the table side guacamole was on special too!

California Tacos – If you love a little West Coast in your taco you can’t miss Taco Tuesday at California Tacos! Enjoy two tacos, chips and a drink for $6.99 all day long at all of their locations. Urban Cantina – The ambiance here will really make you feel like your somewhere in the hip part of Mexico City. The deals will have you asking to stay! Taco Tuesday at Urban Cantina means $2 dollar tacos and $2 dollar beer.
