There has been an interesting correlation the most searched markets on Realtor.com last year. 9 out of 10 of the most searched real estate markets were sun-drenched cities, suggesting we here in Tampa will continue to have one of the hottest real estate markets in the country.
“Changing conditions throughout 2010 in the sunshine states resulting from foreclosures, the tax credit, interest rates and other factors created more interest in real estate there compared with other states,” says Realtor.com President Errol Samuelson.
The most searched cities for 2010 were: Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Orlando, San Antonio, Miami, Phoenix, San Diego, Austin, and Tampa. The only odd man out (we did say 9 out of 10!) was Chicago! So it sounds like buying in one of the sun drenched states are what many investors think will be a safe investment!
