I am continually shocked on a daily basis when I login to the Tampa Bay MLS system to search for homes for my buyer clients, and I see photos like these. Who ARE these agents? (Here’s a clue, some of these are from Realtors who are considered top agents! Yikes!) Some of these are million dollar homes but you wouldn’t know it by looking at the photos. How your home is marketed is key in the price it ultimately sells for.
When meeting with prospective Sellers, I’ve heard things like “Oh my sister-in-law is a Realtor, I’m just going to list with her.” Not all agents are good with photography (I am, I use a Nikon D50 Digital SLR or, often times, I hire a professional photographer), and not all agents have degrees in Marketing (I do). Not all Realtors are created equal. I created this YouTube video so you can enjoy these bad MLS photos I’ve run across and have a laugh… I’ll post more as I find them here. All the photos at the end of this video are my personal photos that I took myself with my Nikon D50 SLR Camera.
Now then, when its time to sell your next home – be sure to ask the Realtors you interview to show you the homes they currently have on the MLS or recent solds. Check out the photos. How will your home be marketed?
*Note at the end of this video I have my old Keller Williams business card. I have since switched companies and am now with Smith & Associates Real Estate.

When its time to list your home –
use the Realtor that knows how to market your home in the right light.
